You know sometimes having a massive back squat isnโt even worth it. But sometimes you get to do some fuckshit like this lmaoooo.
My coaches , our team of researchers and myself did this in search of an average m/s rate of .5 m/s
The pause was implemented to get the most accurate rate without a bounce out of the bottom.
300kg got me exactly .5m/s
My coaches extrapolated that based off my velocity, my 1rm at this current moment would be roughly 375kg.
It is one thing to say it and another to do it, I doubt I will ever push my squats that high, the risk is greater than the reward. But it does allow us to train and drive strength lifts more accurately.
Keiser Witte said I should squat 351 for the clout because lashaโs best back squat triple is 350
Hopefully with these new numbers and evaluations I can see more efficiency in my lifts
