Thinking about going into the cannabis industry.

Hello everyone I currently run a nursery/ garden center and been thinking about talking to the owner of the place about going into the cannabis industry. We have 5 decent size green houses in about 40 acres of land. Now what I’m seeking is info from anyone that’s in the industry already and how to go about it. In example( about how much was it to start up) (were getting the permits and licensing hard?) (What was the time frame between everything?) and lastly is it worth it? We’re located in upstate NY. Any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks
