I am a long time stoner and have been smoking for about 3 years now. I have tried edibles twice. The first the I tried them was some homemade ones from a friend. Me and a buddy tried them and after a while he felt something but I didn't. Then nearly a year later I tried edibles again off a dealer I am good mates with. I had half of a brownie and felt nothing but my girlfriend (who had the same amount) at the time said she got very high and things went "2D". I have heard there is a gene that makes your liver metabolise THC very well to the point that edibles don't work unless you take ridiculously high doses. I was wondering if there is any way to tell if you have this gene other than trying edibles because I really want to see how it compares to smoking but don't want to waste more money.
