How do I avoid the weed smell spreading in my apartment

I know smoking outside is an obvious answer but sometimes it isn’t always an option and winter gets freeeeezing where I’m at. I also way prefer flower over pens which knocks that idea out. I feel like I take so many precautions and all of my stuff ends up smelling even though I don’t smoke close to things like my clothes and such the smell somehow gets on them as well as other things. Any tips or tricks that you guys use to prevent the smell lingering/spreading?
