Anyone else have a hard time finding a good 510 battery @ smoke shops?

Tldr; back in 2014-17 I felt like was the best time to find 510 batteries anywhere, my first being the regular ego-t battery which still works til this day but now anytime i’m browsing for a new battery all stores have are these cheap knock off ‘backwoods’ batteries which I know arent real because they only work half the time
