I am having my wedding at a botanical garden and we are doing a Chinese banquet menu to try to accommodate our families. I'm just curious how other brides have done a traditional family style banquet menu where the food is all in the middle with a lazy susan, and yet still have a nice table decor set out so it looks more modern and chic vs. looking straight out of a Chinese restaurant at my wedding. The issue seems that you can make a beautiful traditional centerpieces, but once dinner is served often these centerpieces seem to simply be removed during dinner time. This seems like a waste to me and I'm hoping to keep the table looking beautiful while serving dinner.
Looking for photos for inspiration and advice on how to do a more modern, chic take on table decor for a Chinese banquet menu.
Thank you!
