I've been totally stuck on how to order my reception timeline since I realized we need to sneak out with the photographer ~7:15-7:20p for 10-15 minutes for sunset photos, which was exactly when toasts were going to happen. This is what I have so far:
TIME | WHAT |
---|---|
6:00pm | Bridal Party Enters |
6:05pm | Grand Entrance, First Dance |
6:10pm | Welcome Toast |
6:15pm | Grace |
6:30pm | Buffet Dinner |
7:15pm | Bride/Groom Sunset Photos |
7:30pm | Toasts |
7:50pm | F-D Dance |
7:55pm | M-S Dance |
8:00pm | Anniversary Dance |
8:05pm | Cake Cutting |
8:10pm | Open Dance Floor |
8:50pm | Bouquet Garter Toss |
9:00pm | Last Call for Alcohol |
9:00pm | Photographer leaves |
9:50pm | Last Dance |
10:00pm | Venue Closes |
My venue coordinator recommended 6:30ish for dinner service, but I'm concerned about the length of time the guests will be sitting (5:30-8:05ish) w/ this timeline.
Should I bump the toasts before the photos?
Or have the formal dances after the grand entrance to delay dinner?
Please help- this has been more stressful then the guest list!
