My (now deceased and very beloved) father was a shoe man. As in, he had multiple pairs of custom, made to measure, dress shoes from a British company. My feet are similar in size and shape to his, and he willed me his shoes. He knew that I'd appreciate them. I'd love to wear them for my wedding, since he can't walk me down the aisle, I can at least walk in his shoes (literally? Lol). But they are a bit too loose for more than careful walking. Before he passed, he said that if necessary, I should get them (recut?) so that they'd fit me perfectly. Does anyone know anything about that? Or have any ideas where I could find out?
Thanks in advance.
