So last night my mom pulls me aside and tells me that she's really upset that she's not walking me down the aisle with my dad. My FH is walking down with both his parents but we had planned on me walking just with my dad, with my mom walking alone being the first to start the processional. Walking just with my dad is what I'd always pictured and what I'd always imagined. She went into a semi rant about how she has compromised with almost everything with the wedding (which was annoying enough to make a whole separate post about, ugh) and she feels left out like she's not important. I told her I'd think about it.

I'm torn. On one hand, it's not a big thing to do for her but on the other hand, my wedding, my ceremony, and I've always wanted it to be a special moment with my dad. I'd always pictured it just us.

Can anyone give me some advice or perspective or maybe just a smile because this is weighing me down? :(
