we got married a little under a month ago, and i am so happy. it was a very small wedding because itโs all we could afford, and had under 20 people in attendance. i do not regret anything, it was beautiful, and i loved it.
however, i have always dreamed of having a big wedding and i feel like i missed out on that just a little bit. i am wondering how uncommon it is to have a microwedding and then do a bigger event later on (not a proper wedding, but a larger celebration of the marriage)
it would likely be over a year from now, and weโd have to build up funds again, but iโd love to make it happen if that is something that people even do. my husband is less social than me and not a big celebration guy, but he agrees that it would be nice and says that if it would make me happy, he would love to. i think that we could make it happen since it seems the worst of our financial trouble is passing.
