Hello! I'm getting married this November. It's a 75-80 person wedding and the ceremony and reception are in the same location. We do not have a planner, but do have a photographer, a DJ, and are DIYing all florals/decor. We have been brainstorming who will be a part of our "set up crew" between our families and our wedding party (6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen).
Our venue has started offering an in-house day of coordination. A month ago when they first brought it up to me, they quoted $1250 for 20 hours of work from the coordinator (including calls leading up to the big day). Apparently that price has now gone up to $1500, but when I prodded they said they would honor the original price.
I'm just trying to see if that is on par with others who have opted for day-of coordination. I certainly see the value, but want to hear others' perspective.
Thanks in advance!
