apologies, i feel like i post here a lot recently! but to be fair the wedding date is very soon and we had to plan quickly, so im still ironing some stuff out.
i finally got the chance to try on my veil properly today, and it is muuuch longer than anticipated. i wanted cathedral length for the drama, but of the length options given i chose the shortest one as i am very short, and when i used a measuring tape to simulate the length before purchasing it looked perfect. however, the actual veil appears to be way longer than i ordered it to be. i absolutely love it and think its beautiful, but its large enough that i dont even have a room in the house i can fully spread it out in.
how do i manage this at the ceremony? i think there will be space for it, but it might take a minute to adjust it before i walk, and there isnt really a hidden place to do it (so everyone will likely be able to see me easily while we get the veil spread out)
also, will it stay spread while i walk? not expecting perfection, but im hoping it wont bunch up too too much. it has a lovely shape and it would be a shame for nobody to be able to see it.
