Itās getting late and Iām currently having a lot of regrets about my wedding choices.
I am inviting 150 people and that is the max my venue allows.
Iām in a bad rabbit hole now of comparing my planning to other weddings on the site and I just know my venue is going to be too small for 150 people, even though they say they allow that many.
Theyāll be fitting 10 people per 60ā round table. Thereās only two bathrooms. Thereās no available running water so everyone will need to go to the bar to get water bottles. But I decided I would get 2 50 oz water carafes per table to start everyone off with a glass of water, so that should help with water.
But at least 93 of those people are just family, and I know some people donāt invite their cousins and their cousinās kids, but idk how I could have the wedding I want without doing that, and then I want some of my friends there and my fiance wants some of his friends there, and then his mom is inviting some of her friends and I donāt want to upset her and itās too late now to reduce the count because Iāve sent invitations out, but Iām worried this will be a disaster. We are having pizza from a food truck, we will have alcohol (open bar), a DJ, food for cocktail hour, and 144 cupcakes and an 8ā cake, so everyone will be fed and entertained, but Iām so worried it will be a disaster. How is anyone affording this? Money is tight for us, my fiance is having money trouble and canāt support me at all financially, and if mom wasnāt helping I couldnāt even afford what Iām doing. I might donate plasma for cash. Iāve already spent enough that I donāt think I can delay and still afford the wedding later.
Everything is just too real.
