How early did you arrive on the day of your wedding?

I'm having an issue with my Mother of the Groom and bridesmaids thinking I am asking them to come too early the day of. They don't want to be "bored" and they think they'll be tired.

For context - I'm asking them to come at 11 AM with a ceremony start time of 4 PM. We have 7 hair and makeup to do, would like to do individual family/ bridal party pictures, need to do a brief rehearsal, and have to be out of the ceremony/ outdoor space BY 3 pm.

My salon and wedding planner think 9/10 AM is more appropriate, but they are not cooperating so I'm trying to compromise.

Any advice? Similar experiences? Am I crazy for asking them to come at that time?
