Hi Weddit!
I got engaged in Oct, planning for a Fall 2025 wedding. My MIL is helping me plan and tomorrow we were planning on going to our city's Bridal Expo. The convention center is about an hour and a half away, which isn't a problem but it is only 3 hours long, so we'd spend just as long in the car getting there and home as the event itself.
So I was thinking that instead of all that, we could do some other wedding related activities, but I'm having a blank on what we could do last minute.
I'm sure I could post in my local area subreddits and get some ideas, I was just curious if anyone has any ideas that I could start to research.
MIL is totally flexible with what we do, so we could still go to the expo, but it may be too much walking for her, plus this is the first time I'm actually like "planning" outside of the house and away from my computer, so I'm kind of panicking lol.
Any help, with either ideas or encouragement to go to the expo would be great! Thanks!
