Got married in April this year, a full day’s drive away from home, and one of the complicated details we hadn’t anticipated was cat care.
We have a geriatric cat that needs medication twice a day, and it turns out the number of people we’d feel okay asking to do this, but who also aren’t invited to the wedding is vanishingly small.
Even if your pets don’t require that much attention, it can still be an awkward conversation asking someone to do this while also implying that they’re not invited to your wedding — take it from me, it’s worth figuring this out early on!
