As if the stress for the finances weren't enough, there has been some major bombshells dropped about my family in the past couple of weeks all because of the engagement & wedding planning.

My fiance and I are still on the fence about everything but will probably go with renting out a restaurant/bar for 100 people, skip the ceremony and serve food & drinks & dance. We will sign our certificate privately and have our ceremony just me and him in another country

Only thing is.. is I guess I'm confused? Do we still show up in the wedding attire? do we still do speeches? do I still get a photographer? I'm not quite sure about all the little details about how this would go
