Found the dress… maybe? But it’s so early. Help me decide (photos included)

Hi everyone, I’m getting married in fall 2026, so there’s still a lot of time. But right now I have some free time before starting a new, very time-consuming job this summer – which is why I’ve already started dress shopping during the sales these past two weeks.

Originally, I always imagined myself in a fitted, elegant fit-and-flare dress – no lace, no glitter, just simple and chic. I tried on one like that and really liked it in theory, but I noticed every wrinkle and piece of underwear was super visible. Plus, it was much tighter and less comfortable than A-line dresses.

Then I tried on a classic A-line dress with lace and glitter, and it looked beautiful! But to be honest, I’ve seen so many lace dresses that I’m a bit over that look. I still really love the clean, elegant aesthetic.

This week, I went to another store and tried on two dresses that I genuinely loved. When I put one of them on, I immediately thought: This is the one.

The dress comes in two versions: • One with thin straps and an open (or sheer) back • One with thicker straps and a closed back

Now I’m torn. On one hand, I’m worried it’s too early to buy – there’s still so much time left, and what if I change my mind or fall in love with another fit-and-flare dress later? What if I end up regretting my choice? On the other hand, I might not have much time for fittings and appointments once I start my job, and the dress is an amazing deal.

There’s also another thing: I’m currently super active and do a lot of sports, but I’m afraid that once I start this new job, I won’t have enough time to keep up with my fitness routine. I’m a bit worried that my body might change over time – and I don’t know if that means the dress might not fit or feel right anymore later on.

Also, I’m quite young and a bit worried that the version with the thicker straps or the higher neckline might make me look older. But I’m also not sure if the thin straps version might be too revealing or not “classic” enough.

So… • Should I go for it now or wait a bit longer? • Would you go for thin or thick straps / open vs. closed back in this case? • Is it better to stick with what I loved in the moment, or keep trying on other styles just in case? • Should I consider the possibility of body changes and hold off for that reason?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

The one with the thin straps is GORGEOUS!! You look great in all of them, but that's easily my favorite.

Remember -- with tariffs, the price of this dress might increase substantially. Would you be okay paying more for the same dress, or potentially missing out on this one if the price goes up? Don't rush it if you're not ready, but if you think this is your dress, you might save money by ordering now.

Ahh okay based on your use of commas in "1,3k" I assume you're not American? So you can ignore what I said about tariffs :)
