We have a date on hold on May 21, 2022 for an indoor reception with 170 guests at Descanso Gardens, we initially wanted an indoor reception but now I'm getting skittish still wondering if COVID will still be an issue in about a year. Is anyone else planning an indoor wedding reception either in the near future or next spring? Any second thoughts? How is planning going for indoor receptions in the later 2021?

We also have a photographer/videographer willing to give us a 1k discount if we book in 3 days so I feel a sense or urgency to lock things down to save money and lock things down! But at the same time feeling worried things will get derailed again if its indoors. Bookings for venues and vendors are going fast in southern California and we'd really like a wedding in 2022 for our own personal timeline.
