So I (M 28) have been friends with the bride and groom to be since I was 21 in college when I met them. They have been aiming for a wedding later this year near October to Decemver. In January the groom to be made sure they had my address for save the dates. And about 2 weeks ago the bride to be double checked with me. Very standard procedure in my opinion. Today I recieved a text from the groom saying that I shall be recieving a package from him soon and to call him before I open it since we are in different states. So I believe with the timing of things he is going to ask me to be party of the wedding party. But in my mind I thought I would be just an attendee, not the wedding party because I would think his brother, cousin, best friend, and two to three other people would be part of the wedding party before I would be chosen. I maybe overthinking it, and would be honored if it maybe so. But is this a thing of buttering up your groomsmen before popping the question to them? Like a promposal. Haha
Update! I've been asked to be a Groomsmen!!!
so excited and cant wait for the wedding later this year!
