I love all these posts. Truly, I do
Post Body

Edit: I have forgotten how stressful planning a wedding is, as I haven't had to in a couple years thanks to covid ruin plans. And also the number of guests people have at weddings. I appreciate all the input! 🥰

Yet any time I see a post asking what's acceptable to wear to a wedding, my first thought is almost always "just ask the bride and groom what their dress code is or show them what you're planning to wear to see if they see it too much, too little, etc"

Now don't get me wrong, not everyone thinks this way, I know. And everyone here is so helpful. But I think it would be less stressful on the people asking if they okay'd it with the couple first, then asked our opinions? (And if this is just me, then I'll take the swarm of down votes, but I just wanted to share my thoughts!)

Also, I know tone of voice is bad over text and such, but I am meaning this with no intent of being rude or any negative emotion. Just like...thoughtful I guess is a way to put it? Idk sorry if I do offend anyone
