I do some gig work helping small businesses and startups with getting up and running with their organizational pieces and with accounting/bookkeeping. One thing that continues to come up is setting up a website. I have absolutely no idea about this part and wish I could help or at least guide my clients in some direction. I tend to do a lot of other services that are outside the general accounting realm for my clients after I’ve worked with them because I just enjoy helping them get up and going, as someone did for me. I would love to know how to assist with this particular issue.
I understand how to reserve a domain and that you need to find a website hosting service; I know nothing past this. Is there some sort of subscription I could buy to use with my clients to help them build basic websites to get started with? Is there a good website to visit or point them to where they can build basic sites themselves? Any providers who do this cheaply and quickly? Honestly I’ll take any feedback, I just hate feeling like an idiot on this subject, especially with being young and expected to understand “techy stuff”.
Pls help
