US apps on European region - can be downloaded but they will uninstall. Any workaround?
Post Body

Hi,

I'm using an LG C8 in Europe. Although I found a way to download US apps by switching the region, every time I switch back to a European country and try to open Hulu, I get a popup letting me know that the app will be uninstalled.

The uninstall trigger appears to be the region so probably the system performs a region check at boot or something like that. I'm already using a Smart DNS service that allows me use Hulu on my Nvidia Shield and PC and I know it works on the LG as well because Hulu works if I'm in an American region. However, I must switch back to Europe because otherwise the TV channels won't work.

I am aware that we have a majority of North American users here, but there are certainly some users from Europe that may be interested in this as well. Is anyone aware of any workaround?

Thank you.
