Any recent experiences with KnownHost?

Currently with hostgator and have had SO many problems lately with random server errors and downtime. It's time to switch. Never again will I use or recommend them.
Shopping for a new host. Currently looking into KnownHost managed VPS. I saw them recommended in the sidebar, checked out their site, appreciated their transparent pricing and hosting options.
Are they still reliable and recommended with great tech support? Thanks all!
