Greetings, It's been about 18 years since I ventured into this world, and once upon a time I would just setup TomCat / mySQL / PHP on one of my Linux boxes and get to work with whatever text editor was available to me. I recently became unemployed and am looking to fall back into this world again as a means of income.

Right now I have an idea for a site that I would like to put together, but do not have any of the hosting options I used to have available to me. What I would like to accomplish is the following:

• Have web templates similar to WordPress or Wix simply for the ease of the ease of front end creation and mobile compatibility.

• Allow for users to log into a page, have a profile, contribute information and make purchases for in-app currency

• Ability to edit and create source code, as that seemed to be a conflict for sites like Wix.

• Able to have the data accessible from mobile devices as Apps will eventually be created for Apple and Android.

I will be utilizing the Google Maps API as well, while I don't think that makes a difference here, I felt it was worth mentioning.

Apologies for being a bit vague and asking some newbie questions, but this is such a different world then where I left it back in 2000. As I am unemployed I really do not have much to contribute financially, but once I get this off the ground do not have an issue putting some money towards this. As such I am seeking very low cost / free options and don't mind ad-supported ones for the short term provided I can eventually move to an ad-free option.
