Hey All,
I'm currently working at a job where my title is "web integration specialist." However, that title doesn't encompass what I fully do. My boss is willing to update the title and I would like suggestions.
We're a small company that offers CSM software and website services to small businesses.
I have two main responsibilities
- Onboard new client's small business websites.
- Develop new web products and improve existing products.
Onboarding includes a lot of customer interaction, such as:
- Helping them with their domain.
- Getting content from the customer and initial build (WordPress)
- Answering any general website questions.
- Training them on how to use wordpress
- Making regular updates to their website for them.
- Setting up Google Analytics
For the development part, since I've been here I've:
- Set up a Dev Environment using Node and Parcel
- Built an entirely new WordPress theme from scratch
- Made countless updates to the existing WordPress Theme, adding in new functionality, fixing bugs, ensuring responsiveness, etc. Lots of PHP work.
- Set up a way to deploy Theme updates to our 75 existing clients.
- Added the ability for our themes to integrate with the CSM software we also provide. Specifically an e-commerce section of the website that customers can update via the CSM software.
What would you call this job?
Let me know if you have any other questions about my job responsibilities.
