I'm new to the whole CMS thing and but quite confident with front end basics.

Another developer I work with wants to create WordPress themes with bootstrap for our company.

I've been taking WordPress Theme Development with Bootstrap from udemy, and while working my way through it I can't help thinking wouldn't it be easier to take an existing WP theme and modifying it to suite our needs.

We're both inexperienced devs who are allowed to chose what technologies we want to use as long as they meet the spec of the project.

What experience do people have at using bootstrap to WordPress, is there good reasons to, or are we just wasting time?
