What are typical HTML5 Geolocation opt-in rates?
Post Body

Most browsers prompt users to explicitly opt-in to allow a website access to their geolocation information. I'm curious if anyone has any data on typical opt-in rates - how many user's allow versus block? Are there large differences between desktop and mobile?

Ultimately I'm curious if this is a better tactic than location detection via IP address (which can have varying degrees of accuracy depending on which service you go with).

I googled and couldn't find any information on published opt-in rates - thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has any data they can share!
