.htaccess Mod Rewrite Issues

Hey /r/webdev, Quick question, got my mod rewrite done and working through EasyPHP though when uploading onto my host I have an issue.
One of my rules rewrites gallery.php to plain gallery though everytime I write in, "mydomain.com/gallery" it redirects to, "mydomain.com/gallery/".
Any solutions?
