Advice for a junior web dev (2 years of experience) attempting to build a large scale web app
Post Body

Hi guys, Iā€™m a web dev that has been working professionally for about 2 years now. I have some experience about how vast the field is and a hint at how much technical debt I may have.

I recently started a new project and I am aiming to build a web app that potentially accommodates 5k users. I am building with the stack I am most comfortable with (react chakra ui .net backend)

What are some things I should consider or keep on the look out for while trying to build a large scale scalable application that I might most likely miss due to lack of experience? What are common/obvious mistakes I might make?

For example, I recently learnt about ssr vs client side rendering and the problems with css-in-js (a concept I never understood before) and I have started considered scrapping the chakra ui component and opting in for tailwind headless components.

I keep getting obsessive and paranoid about whether I am working with the right stack, structuring the project properly, following best practices and all. Please share any insights that you think might be useful!
