Hey all,

First time looking into purchasing a domain, but it is currently taken. When I noticed it was taken I emailed the person who owns it via a WHOIS lookup but he wanted to sell for $$$. That was several months ago, and now I've looked again and this is the WHOIS info:

Updated Date: 2019-06-06
Created Date: 2018-04-26
Registrar Expiration Date: 2019-04-26

So I did some online research and it looks like each company has a different route they take with expiration and when it is available to purchase again and what not. My question is, why is it taking so long (2 months ago yesterday) and is there anything I can do to make sure I know when it is available again? I definitely don't want to contact the company and ask them about it, because I'm afraid they'll contact their customer or put a higher price on it (very uncommon name, very similar domains like it for $12/yr).
