Modals/Popups on E-Commerce sites and leave rates
Post Body

Everyone knows those annoying modals that pop up on e-commerce sites asking for you to join their newsletter, regardless of whether you already subscribe to it...and I get that the metrics from this tactic work, but I haven't seen anything from a UX standpoint that show how many people leave when they see these. Is it common practice to track this metric and if so is it significant/insignificant?
