[help] Smashing my head against CSS - Hover drop down lists

Post Body

Hello,

I am working right now on a hover drop down list based on This page but When implementing on a site I am helping on, it does not work. I have managed to fix minor things, but at this point I have probably spaghetti'd the code and I need some help to get the drop down to work.

When I hover, the drop down does not appear at all. The highlights and the links work on the main items though, which confuses me.

I am going to Pastie what I have so far, but I am stuck partially in between, and Don't know where to turn to fix it. Please, let me know if you see what I am doing wrong - I have included a pastie with the code from each page, the index I am editing to test and the CSS it should be drawing from.

I don't need a full lesson, but I would appreciate any help you folks can offer! Thank you,

Thank you,

CSS
