Slides is an accessory that's being used as the base for your rower/WaterRower. They offer a feel closer to the "on the water" experience.

From what I understand, static rowing is you moving mainly your body, while dynamic is you moving mainly the rower while the body. Slides and similar dynamic rowing setups in theory are even easier on the back and knees.

I think the experience and effects change depending the weight of the user vs the weight of the rower that's being moved, but that's just speculation.

Has anyone tried slides on a WaterRower? The water being moved back and forth might create even more interesting dynamics.
