For a the past few years i've always wanted to water-cool my system but never thought it was necessary. I game in a room that is 15'x15' and it gets so hot even with the AC on constantly. My plan is to do what Antvenom did where he ran the radiator and pump to a location outside of his room. The pump he used was a koolance pmp-500 pump. My question is, are there better pumps on the market that will suit my needs better? I've done some research and found DDC pumps to be the closest match. But most DDC pumps I could find would not have enough head pressure unless two are run in series. I plan to run the loop to my basement mechanical room using soft tubing with a 480mm rad and a cpu and gpu block and a 5.25 res. the run would be at max 125' with a 12' height difference between the two locations. The pump is the only thing im hung up on. The koolance pump will work but it seems to be a pretty old design now.
