I was on Clubhouse and saw a room that was talking about water. I listened and a minute in I discovered it was a pseudo science room. But I listened in just to see if there were any more updates to the litany of pseudo science around water and obviously they did not disappoint.
This guy was going into detail about how natural silica makes water wet and no where in that claim did he describe the difference between artificial and natural silica or what properties makes water wet. He just Fiji water has silica in it and thats why it's the best water because silica is the thing that keeps you hydrated longer than regular water.
I tried researching the claim and found nothing to support it. I like to know the origins of such silliness so I can help fight the disinformation fight.
