So apparently there is nano plastics and micro plastics in water and a host of chemicals I don't know the names of in water bottles. I recently began a self revolution, trying to hydrate myself to go to the gym more often... But now I see all these articles about bottle water being undrinkable. The effects of micro plastics are unknown... Just the they make your health worse.
I don't exactly want boiled water... Cause firstly who has time for that? Secondly, I live in Florida where the water quality is poor. So, I'm not even sure if boiling water actually even cleans it. Not to mention I'd be doing this several times a day to meet my hydration quota.
We used to have a water fountain but this thing is older than me and probably has not shortage of plastics and dirt film... So, we switched to buying bottled water.
To finish it all off... We live in an apartment so we can't install any water systems. Water filters are ridiculously expensive, (they're not I'm just poor ASF). So, it's like... No matter what I think of there's always some risk. You're either getting ground chemicals, microplastics, or losing essential minerals.
And it makes me wonder... What are you supposed to do nowadays? Just die? ðŸ˜
If I don't hydrate myself... My health is poor. If I do hydrate myself... My health WILL be poor.
Why is our world this way?...
Edit: Decided I'm gonna start boiling our purified water. It's not much but it's better than nothing. The only thing is finding non-plastic containers to put it in... 💀
Edit #2: Nevermind I give up, all we had was plastic containers anyways. If I die I die I guess, I'll be another statistic to humanity's hubris. There's nothing I can do without money... And I can't get money. My family thinks I'm a conspiracy theorist and could not frankly give a shit. But why do I care? I have ADHD... The worst has already happened.
