I noticed something strange when I started using the Brita Elite replacement filter with my pitcher.
When I used the standard one, it used to reduce the tap water TDS level from 140 to around 75. Ever since I started using the Elite one, it barely reduced the TDS to about 130, sometimes even exceeding the tap water TDS level. I even tested this with another device, just to be sure that the meter itself wasn’t the problem.
I dived deep into some reviews on Amazon, and it seems like there are others who faced this problem as well.
I thought the Elite one was supposed to filter out way more contaminants compared to the Standard model? Did anyone else here have a similar experience? Or am I missing something?
