Hey everyone,

I was at an after-work part tonight and I couldn't help but tell them what my plans are for tomorrow... that's how much I'm looking forward to this event. :)

There's some final details that it makes sense to think about as the hour approaches, so I wanted to see what everyone thinks.

TIME

First, there's been a request to have the event at 8pm GMT (global times available here, just search for your city/country) instead of 7pm. Is this a problem for anyone? If so, please respond right away.

SKYPE

Not all of us have experience with multi-person Skype calls, so a volunteer to start the call would be great. These are the people who need to be in the call, so make sure you have everyone on your list:

Seems to me like it would be good to meet up in the Nether Hub, and then head to the portal. The reason I suggest the Nether Hub is...

IN THE CALL

I expect most of us have no idea what each other's voices sound like. Obviously we won't be able to learn that well before we take on the Ender Dragon, but what if we each take turns saying hello or something, to attach a voice to a name and Minecraft skin (without armor)?

SETTING SPAWN

Once we get to the portal, we should let everyone set their spawn at that location if they haven't already.

EQUIP THYSELVES

Make sure to have...

• projectile weapons (bow & arrows, or snowballs)
• armor
• food
• a chest (for someone to put your stuff in if you die)
• some building blocks, maybe a pickaxe
• whatever else you want (pumpkin? painting? torches? sword?)

JUMPING THROUGH THE PORTAL

Sometimes The End generates in strange ways, such as on separate islands. If one or two people jump through first and let us know what we're up against, then we can make sure to have enough supplies, such as building blocks. Only needs to be like a 10 second lead time.

ONCE THERE

It would be helpful if someone can build a small platform with a 2-high gap under, so we can hide/defend from Endermen if we accidentally aggro them.

Other than that...

destroy the regen towers and slay the dragon!!!

Is that good for everyone? This totally isn't my event, so your input is important! (The only reason I'm sending this is that I can't help but think in terms of logistics. Be patient with me, lol.)
