Hey There! This is my first post on here so hey you all! To make a long story short I have a new project watch (Longines 2955 with a 507 Caliber). As soon as I disassembled it I noticed the mainspring had to be replaced fully (the barrel had „do not open“ written on it). The Problem Is I cannot find any replacement (Longines calibers 501-507 or Record 1958-2). I would really appreciate any ideas on how to acquire a full mainspring. Or a possibility to reuse the old mainspring. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and thanks in advance for the help!
