Quick question about WD2 Jumper

I've seen you can hack cars with the Jumper Drone to move them like you would when controlling Marcus, but I haven't seen the drone hacking the car where Marcus is (you can use the drone while Marcus is on a non-moving vehicle). Is possible to do it? Why on earth would you ever want to waste botnet power on this when you can ride the vehicle yourself? You ask me. For science, I answer
