I know it sounds like a dumb absurd question, but is there any place with free/affordable parking just outside DC?

Wanna head into the city for the fireworks this afternoon, and I know the horror stories of finding parking in the city. I usually park my car at the end of the orange line (Vienna) and Metro all the way into DC, but is there any closer parking space available?... Oh, I just realized I can probably park at one of the Metro parking spaces closer to DC lmao. I might try that, but any other better options I'd love to hear ty!
