I’m on the hunt to buy for the first time and keep seeing a bunch of units avail on Zillow at the Tiber Island coop buildings (and other coops around SW too).
Any info on these? Know generally lower base cost but higher HOA (although at least at Tiber looks to include taxes and all utilities except land line phone).
Does anyone have any experience living here? is it nice?
Any experiences buying / living in co ops? upsides / downsides?
Are these good deals / bad deals?
Seems odd that there happen to be so many in the market when the rest of DC is so hard to buy in right now…
Any / All insights welcome on this complex in particular or co op living/ownership in general.
