How do I stop my team from feeding before level 6?

Something I've struggled with when playing Warwick is that I have a hard time ganking before level 6, and therefore have a hard time babysitting laners who are struggling against their opponents early on in the game.
Is there any reliable way for me to help my teammates out without wasting too much time on my way to level 6?
