So, bc Wiggins has one more year on his deal, and letting Poole hit the market next year as a restricted(?) free agent would mean letting the market decide his value. What if we gave Poole his extension now, let Wiggins play out the last yr of his deal, and then ask Wiggins to do a sign and trade a la KD. I'm likely misunderstanding how this works, bc I think salaries have to match in a trade. I honestly don't know what they can do, but I know I don't wanna trade the future for KD, I know that guys gotta get paid after next year, and again after that, and we can't pay EVERYONE. So how do we mitigate the loss of a guy like Wiggins or Poole (who I'd rather keep over Wiggins if you put a gun to my head).
