Who would you guys say has consistently been the biggest factor to losing in the games we’ve lost?
For me it’s obvious, Jordan Poole. In games where he starts, he’s been pretty good this year, but his defense even in those games is atrocious, even just compared to last year!
Physically, he doesn’t have the tools to be a defender, but last year he gave a whole lot of effort and wasn’t a liability.
That effort is gone, especially if he doesn’t start. But y before, the offensive effort was always there, not so much this year. When he doesn’t start he puts up bogus shots, isn’t really attacking the rim, and just flat out seems disinterested.
Also Lamb, Jerome, and JMG all annoy the hell out of me, their rotations and initial on ball defense is hideous. The warriors never have had a true backup big, but that’s been salvaged by having big wings with great defensive IQ off the bench, that’s not even close to the case this year.
Never thought I’d be wishing JTA was still here, but here we are.
P.S. why tf is Iggy getting minutes?
