I understand this is a 4th edition game...but don't ask me because this is my first go round with WFRP so I don't exactly know. One GM, 5 PCs: Human Warrior Priest, Human Investigator, Elf Magic User of some kind, I think a Dwarf Slayer and myself with a Human Priest of Handrich...who is really more of a merchant/teamster than a Priest.

My character has the following stats: Silver 4 status, WS 40, BS 25, S 43, T 50, I 28, Ag 30, Dex 30, Int 34, WP 40, Fel 45

Skills: Bribery 50, Charm 50, Cool 45, Consume Alcohol 55, Drive 31, Entertain (Acting) 46, Gamble 35, Gossip 50, Haggle 55, Intuition 30, Melee (Basic) 45, Melee (Brawling) 45, Navigation 29, Perception 30, Animal Care 37, Evaluate 40, Pick Lock 35, Pray 50, Research 35, Animal Training (Horse) 35

Lore: Reikland 37, Theology 39, Politics 35

Languages: Bretonnian, Wastelander, Classical, Eltharin, Tilean, Estalian, Halfling, Khazalid, Norse

Talents: Doomed, Hardy, Bless, Suave, Animal Affinity (Random Roll), Mimic (Random Roll), Pure Soul (Random Roll), Very Strong, Very Resilient, Coolheaded, Read/Write, Numismatics, Strike-to-Stun, In-fighter, Invoke (A Deal's A Deal)

I'm not sold on this system as I'm not real fond of the Success Levels. Also. It seemed like the Investigator and the Magic User were more complicated than I figured they would be. However. It has only been one session where I walked into combat already in progress so I really haven't seen how this works out yet.

Otherwise. The GM agreed with me that knuckledusters should qualify for the Pummel quality so I did enjoy stunning my opponents with the Strike-to-Stun talent. Of course, these were pretty low level Greenskins so it wasn't too much of a challenge.

My other bit of fun was use of the Intimidate skill. -10 makes attacks against me a little tougher...but it also makes it more difficult to get rid of the Stunned conditions I'm inflicting.

Also on the Intimidate skill...the GM played pretty loose with the rules and allowed me to counter/dodge/parry an attack with the Intimidate skill. My roll was ok but better than the Greenskins roll. The GM ruled that my Intimidate caused the attack to go wide but wasn't good enough to impose the Shaken condition.

Right now I have 135 Experience points. My first spending will be towards the talent Furious Assault (I believe that is the name). So I have the ability to attack twice per turn...if I'm not using my Move of course. I think this will be important in that I want to Strike-to-Stun on as many opponents as I can. Or, I can try to put 2 Stunned conditions on one opponent per turn. I'm not sure if I will have to spend 200xp to do this or not...the GM believes that I can learn this talent from the Dwarf Slayer.

So anyway. My character's major ambition in life is to see Handrich elevated to The Grand Conclave. And while I see this character as a little underpowered (specifically in the Damage department), I like the concept where he is mostly concerned with commerce/trade...and his merchant/teamster ways make him a decent Brawler.
