Going into Shadowlands, what is some Warcraft lore I should brush up on?

I’m curious if there is some lore I should check out and read up on before going into shadowlands to make my experience richer.
I want to know if I should read up on certain characters, relationships, events, etc... This is the first expansion where I won’t be busy at launch so I want the best experience possible.
