At a distribution center you can get occurances for things such as procedure, production, ect, which eventually lead to termination.
They recently announced to the whole warehouse that people will now be getting procedural occurances for using protected paid time off (PPTO) to go home. It is due to the amount of freight and lack of staffing. This came down from the Market human resources manager.
I have called ethics, open door, human services, ect and have had no meaningful reponses. The one guy almost transferred me to home office but said it wouldn't be worth it.
This is bullshit right? You cant be reprimanded for using protected time off can you? I have gotten absolutely nowhere with any phone numbers, any resources would be appreciated
