June 13th I was called on for a same day interview for the service center , interview went great they said the usual stuff. Saturday 2 days later they call me back and ask me to come in , me do a new application right there and pushed it forward , I got the job offer while in the back room with them , consented for a background check ( told them I had a felony weed charge they said no problem ). Thursday at 1205 am I get an email saying the back ground check is completed , only thing on there is the felony I listed and mentioned . The Walmart app says Your orientation : coming soon

How long does this take ? It says I have a position and a pay rate , I’m 900 miles away from friends and family and here with my kids mother but I am running out of money fast . If I’m not working by the 1st of the month to have a pay check at least before July 15th then I need to bail out while I still can . I know I need to contact the store , I’ve tried the person I need to speak with won’t be in tomorrow .

I guess I’ll keep y’all posted if I’m staying in Alabama or heading home to Baltimore

For context this is a very small town less than 10k people the Walmart only has 1 door and 10 registers, they’re doing away with the self check out.
